Human Rights Tool Kit
About HRTK
The Human Rights Tool Kit is dedicated to developing an open-source technology infrastructure chain that takes a human from the Stone Age to the Space Age.

Our Mission
Why people need the Tool Kit:
The single most liberating force (to humans as a whole) throughout History has been Technology.
Fire, the Wheel, the plow, the printing press, the loom, the cotton gin, washing machines, trains, planes, automobiles, radio, tv, internet, computers, and phones…All of these products have greatly liberated humanity, freed our time, expanded our minds, and forever improved our existence.
Yet, supply chain complexities, resource constraints, and political systems deprive hundreds of millions of people globally from possessing technology products as basic as clean water.
HRTK addresses this by enabling those disenfranchised populations to develop the internal production systems and expertise to sustainably solve these problems themselves.
HRTK also provides a form of disaster insurance. Should the planet be struck by an asteroid or something, the broad distribution of product design plans to “reboot civilization” could return things to normal in a matter of a few generations instead of millennia.
Finally, tools ARE wealth. The average citizen of a developed nation today enjoys a lifestyle that, in many respects, is superior to that enjoyed by royalty in the Middle Ages. The difference is technology. Broad distribution (percent of population) of modern technologies and education is the strongest creator of a healthy economic middle class in that population. Also, such products lower the cost barrier to a better quality of life which further erodes the real world differences between “the Rich” and “the Poor.”
Better tools flatten wealth distribution.
